BOSTON — The Coast Guard is searching for three missing men aboard the Dad Sea Cave, a 23-foot well craft, in Cape Cod Bay, Cape Cod Tuesday after the vessel failed to return home when scheduled.
A friend of the crew reported to Coast Guard Southeastern New England watchstanders at about 7 p.m. that Carlos Amaral, Dylan Amaral, and Mario Fialho were supposed to come back from their fishing trip around 2 p.m., but have not. Their truck and trailer is still parked at Sandwich Marina.
A 45-foot response boat crew from Station Cape Cod Canal, a 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew from Station Provicetown, and a HC-144 air crew from Air Station Cape Cod launched to search the Cape Cod Bay area from Sandwich to Provicetown.
